February 23 - February 25, 2021
Virtual

After eight years, the Midwest Cover Crops Council Conference is returning to Ontario! SOILS AT GUELPH is proud to co-host this virtual conference from Feb. 23-25, 2021, alongside OMAFRA and the Ridgetown Business Development Centre.

This year’s conference theme is Making Connections: Cover Crops, Soil Health, People. In the spirit of making connections, the conference will kick off on the evening of Feb. 23 with a panel of cover crop enthusiasts and curious observers to discuss Finding Common Ground On Cover Crops.

In addition to eight incredible live sessions and cover crop trouble-shooting discussions, for our Keynote Conversation we are thrilled to welcome Roger L. Martin – former Dean of the Rotman School of Management and the world’s #1 management thinker! Brought to you by the OAC ’59 Future Thinkers Fund, this Keynote Conversation will be FREE for all interested in attending!

Following the release of his new book, WHEN MORE IS NOT BETTER: Overcoming America’s Obsession With Economic Efficiency, Roger will join us to lay out the design principles for achieving a balance of efficiency with resilience in the agri-food industry. His conversation with rural sociologist Mel Luymes will be followed by a panel of agri-food industry leaders to further unpack the conversation.
