New verticillium wilt committee formed

Apr. 2, 2015 - A new verticillium wilt committee has been formed to examine the disease risk in Western Canada and to come up with recommendations for management.

The committee includes representatives from the Canola Council of Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, provincial canola grower organizations, provincial government specialists and life-science organizations.

The Canola Council of Canada (CCC) says step one is to survey more fields this summer and autumn.
