Manitoba crop report: June 9

June 10, 2014 - Seeding progress in Manitoba is estimated at 85 per cent complete, according to the latest crop report. There continues to be areas across Manitoba where seeding progress is not as advanced due to wet soil conditions. In the southwest region, some areas are reporting seeding progress at 10 to 20 per cent complete.

Crops continue to emerge rapidly and stand establishment is generally rated as good to excellent. Weed control is a priority for producers as crops continue to advance.
