In-field resistance to rootworm trait documented

Aug. 17, 2011 -Researchers from Iowa State University have documented the first case of corn rootworm resistance. Those hybrids that express the Cry3bb1 toxin (in Yieldgard RW, Yieldgard VT3 and SmartStax hybrids) are affected, and although researchers are concerned with an increasing spread of resistance, they are not entirely surprised by this recent find.                  READ MORE
