Group forecasts 40 percent drop in wheat prices with biotech seed

Feb. 15, 2010 -The introduction of genetically modified wheat could cause a substantial drop in wheat prices, including a 40 percent decrease for hard springs and 57 percent for durum, with reaction harshest from Europe, Japan and other Asian countries.  This is according to a report from the Western Organization of Resource Councils.       READ MORE
