AGCO DT Series
AGCO Tractors is putting technology, control and comfort into the hands of the family farmer with the introduction of the DT Series tractors. Newly designed from the ground up, this tractor is built to support many of the same values as AGCO Tractors customers: conservation of our resources, strong environmental stewardship, and working with strength and endurance.

The series features four models ranging from 205 to 275 PTO hp.  The new AGCO Sisu Power 8.4 L engine is equipped with a new and better way to meet the current EPA emissions regulations. And, the new technology will be able to handle future emissions requirements without sacrificing power or efficiency. The DT Series is introducing the e3 selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to significantly reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulates.

The standard-equipment CVT transmission, coupled with the Dynamic Tractor Management (DTM) system makes it much easier for the operator to constantly run the tractor at the most efficient engine rpm while maintaining high productivity from the tractor and implements.

Offering a more powerful tractor with a comfortable cab environment in the field allows the operator to get more work done. A new generation of styling features a one-piece hood with easy access to the engine, and improved forward visibility. A new sculpted chassis, with a new front axle, provides a solid foundation for the DT Series. And the front axle is heavier, with larger final drives for strength to handle larger draft loads and weight.

challenger

Challenger MT600C Series
Built for the professional farmer, the Challenger MT600C Series offers four models ranging from 205 to 275 PTO horsepower and features unprecedented operator comforts and heavy-duty capabilities.

The MT600C Series combines simplicity and performance with its all-new TechStar continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Power Management. While the TechStar CVT provides infinitely variable forward speed selection up to 31 mph, the Power Management feature, when activated, automatically coordinates the engine and transmission to minimize rpm, maximize power to the ground and optimize fuel economy. It’s no wonder the TechStar CVT is the most efficient transmission in the industry.

The MT600C Series also features AGCO Corporation’s e3 selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology. This clean air technology treats exhaust to meet current Tier III and future EPA standards while providing undiminished horsepower and torque as well as up to 15 percent better fuel efficiency than competitive models.

Challenger also takes operator comfort and convenience to a new level with a brand new Pinnacle View cab. The four-post cab is surrounded by 67 square feet of glass for a 360 degree view and is 28 percent larger than the previous model. In fact, it’s the largest and one of the quietest cabs in its class. At the controls, the Challenger Tractor Management Center (TMC) puts command of nearly every implement and tractor function at the operator’s fingertips. Plus, the MT600C’s ergonomic cab layout and new OptiRide cab suspension system provides superior comfort and office-like conditions today’s professional farmers demand.

fendt

The FENDT 900 Series
Since legendary Fendt Model 926 with the Vario continuously variable transmission (CVT) premiered in 1995, the 900 Series has been a benchmark for measuring the design and performance of all other tractors. Today, farmers and custom operators alike face growing field sizes, increasing transport distances and rising costs. For many, 900 Series tractors are the answer with the speed, fuel efficiency and in-field productivity to do more in a day for less.

The 900 Series uses a Deutz 7.4-liter, six-cylinder engine that, coupled with the proven, stepless Vario CVT and the exclusive Tractor Management System (TMS), gives exceptional fuel efficiency, whether cruising down the road at 33 mph or tilling soil at 10 mph.

Ranging from 220 to 360 engine horsepower, the 6-model 900 Series offers intelligent tractor management and automation features that raise output/hour and fuel use standards well beyond other tractors’ performance.

The 4th-generation Fendt-designed independent-suspension front axle flexes nearly 12 in. (300 mm), the longest of any standard tractor. This extended travel keeps both front wheels on the ground and pulling, even in extremely rough conditions. The independent suspension contributes to a tight turning radius of only 20 ft (6.1 m) for the 18.5 ft. Model 922 Vario.

New John Deere 8R Series Tractor
John Deere bolsters its lineup of high-powered row-crop tractors with the introduction of its 8R Series Tractors. The lineup includes six wheeled models that range from 225 to 345 engine horsepower and three track models that range from 295 to 345 engine horsepower.

One of the hallmarks of an 8R Series Tractor is its next-generation John Deere CommandViewII Cab. Inside, operators will discover a roomy work environment that’s equipped with integrated, easy-to-use monitors and controls. Visibility is enhanced in all directions.

All 8R and 8RT models are powered with the proven 9.0L John Deere
PowerTech Plus engine that meets current Tier III Emission Standards.

The 8RT Series Track Tractors are new from the ground up. Each 8RT Tractor is equipped with John Deere’s AirCushion Suspension System that was first made available on the company’s larger 9030T Series Track Tractors. And for the first time ever, John Deere makes its Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) available on 8RT Series Track Tractors. It’s standard on the 8345RT and optional on all other models. With an IVT, operators can use a single lever to smoothly shift from 0 to 24 mph, or any speed in between.

Massey Ferguson 8600 Series
The new Massey Ferguson 8600 Series tractors combine the raw power of the AGCO Sisu Power 8.4L engine with the latest innovations in engine management and transmission technology. The MF8600 tractors add operator comforts such as the roomiest cab in the industry and new cab suspension to help farmers get more satisfaction out of a long day of farming.  These 270 to 350 engine horsepower tractors break new ground in next-generation farm equipment, consistent with Massey Ferguson’s 160-year tradition.

The 8600 Series introduces e3 clean-air technology. These tractors are the first ag equipment products anywhere to use selective catalyst reduction (SCR) technology.  The e3 trademark stands for Energy, Economy and Ecology. AGCO chose e3 technology as the most farmer-friendly approach toward meeting current Tier III and future EPA clean air requirements. e3 is a better way to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) gases and particulate emissions without trade-offs. By using e3 the tractors not only provide the cleanest emissions, they also deliver up to 15 percent better fuel efficiency over the competition.

To help get all the power to the ground, the 8600 Series has a rugged new chassis-rail frame, combined with a sculpted front axle support casting providing a solid foundation and a tighter turning radius. Larger final drives and the muscle to handle larger draft loads and weight are additional benefits of the heavy-duty front axle.

newholland

New Holland T8000 Series
New Holland’s T8000 Series tractors feature exceptional pulling power, hydraulic flow, lift capacity, turning and maneuvering ability, and operator comfort. Five models, ranging from 175 to 270 PTO hp, have a choice of four powershift transmissions and three front axle options to match the machine to the job.

T8000 tractors cover more acres, in less time, using less fuel. They power through heavy tillage and ripper jobs, thanks to six-cylinder, turbocharged, 8.3-liter New Holland engines (9.0-liter on the T8050). With up to 56 percent PTO torque rise and industry-leading power growth up to 44 hp, these engines actually increase horsepower as they pull down to slower rpms when the going gets tough.

The New Holland electronic common rail fuel injection system boosts fuel efficiency, with electronically controlled injectors that deliver precise quantities of fuel to each cylinder. With the constant engine speed control feature, set the maximum engine rpm for planting or spraying applications to keep speed constant, or take advantage of peak horsepower and fuel economy during tillage by setting a constant engine speed of 2000 rpm.

Critical engine information is easy to view on the Performance Instrument Cluster. The control system offers built-in protection by shutting down the tractor if engine or transmission temperatures or pressures go outside normal operating ranges.
