The Alberta Wheat Commission is hosting its annual field day event, WheatStalk, in Teepee Creek, a community just northeast of Grande Prairie. The August 8 event will have a build-your-own adventure format with speakers from throughout the province. Topics include soil health, pest identification and four different demonstration plots for pulse, barley, canola and, of course, wheat.
