DuPont Pioneer launches innovative contest in Eastern Canada

Sept. 16, 2015, Chatham, ON - Eastern Canadian farmers have the opportunity to win free Pioneer brand seed thanks to a unique new contest launched today by DuPont Pioneer. The innovative new contest features a grand prize of an annual quantity of Pioneer brand seed product, for a period of up to 25 years (up to a maximum retail value of $1,250,000 (in the aggregate))*. The contest also features five secondary prizes of Seed for a Season (with a maximum retail value of up to $10,000)*.

"Pioneer is the biggest seed brand in Eastern Canada and we're excited to launch a contest that is a one of the first for the Canadian agricultural sector", says Collin Phillip, business director for Eastern Canada, DuPont Pioneer. "We're giving away potentially up to $1.25 million worth of Pioneer brand seed product and we're excited about the possibilities this creates for the winner*. Not having to buy seed for several years could help pay for college tuitions, family vacations or buying that piece of land next door. To our knowledge, this contest is the first of its kind in our industry in Canada".

To participate in the Seed for Life contest, growers should contact their local Pioneer sales professional. Full contest details and rules are available at www.seedforlife.ca.

"DuPont Pioneer strives to help farmers increase their profitability and improve their livelihood - and this contest reflects that," says Krista Klompstra, marketing manager for Eastern Canada, DuPont Pioneer. "We hope growers are as excited as we are about the many opportunities this contest could create."
