The Saskatchewan Pulse Growers have issued a statement on the use of glyphosate in lentils. The European Union has a maximum residue limit (MRL) of 0.1 parts per million (ppm), considerably lower than the 4.0 ppm level for Canada. Growers using glyphosate pre-harvest will exceed the EU level.
