Olds College of Agriculture and Technology has officially opened and named its new agricultural learning centre. The Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre has opened on campus in time for the fall semester.

The facility, whose construction is valued at $14 million, includes a technology-focused learning space, lecture hall, three large labs, group working areas and common spaces. It will serve as the official home to the college’s new Bachelor of Digital Agriculture program.

The campus was named for philanthropists and donors Dave Werklund and Sue Norman-Werklund.
