Nominations open for Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame

Alberta’s Agriculture Hall of Fame will recognize up to three individuals who have displayed leadership and innovation in Alberta’s agriculture industry. Nominations are officially open and will close May 6.
Candidates must have demonstrated contributions to the agriculture industry at or beyond the provincial level over a number of years, and must be nominated by three individuals other than members of their immediate family.
The bi-annual recognition program has now simplified its application process by allowing nominees to more easily re-nominate a previous candidate. Candidates’ full nomination packages from the past six years have been held, and nomination packages will continue to be held over the next six years. Nominators now only have to full out a short, one-page form to re-nominate a candidate.
Past inductees include Walter Paszowski, Ronald Howard, Gordon Hilton and more.
