Ethanol-friendly Manitoba

Dec. 13, 2011 -It may be early, but Royal Dutch Shell is involved in the development of a project that would site a commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant in southern Manitoba. The preliminary goal would be to use roughly 350 tonnes of straw per day -most of that wheat straw -to produce 40 million litres (about 10 million gallons) per year.     READ MORE
