Consumers will pay premium for GM foods with health benefits
Sept. 21, 2011 -As it turns out, consumers are now willling to pay a premium for foods that are genetically modified with increased health benefits. That, according to an Iowa State University researcher, who has found that when offered produce enhanced with traits such as vitamin C or antioxidants, consumers will pay more than what they would for conventional produce.
