May 31, 2010 – A study prepared for the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) to determine the economic impact of renewable fuel plants in Canada has concluded that renewable fuel plants represent a positive economic benefit.
The study, prepared by Doyltech Corporation, has proved that even after making allowance for the opportunity costs of alternate investments, and the opportunity costs of alternate feedstock sales, all levels of government gain from renewable fuels plants, and incentive programs to encourage biofuels production and use in Canada have been a wise investment. | READ MORE
