United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) Agricultural Research Service in Nebraska is studying the possible relationship between the use of wet distillers grain with solubles (WDGS) and the persistence of Escherichia coli 0157:H7, a bacterium which is known to be harmful to human health.
