Saskatchewan farmers busy with harvest
Aug. 27, 2013, Regina, SK - As of last week across the province, five per cent of the peas and winter wheat and two per cent of the lentils have been combined in Saskatchewan, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture's Crop Report.
Meanwhile, five per cent of the canola had been swathed as at Aug. 19; while swathing of canola has started in the southern regions of the province and was expected to start in the northeast and northwest regions late week or early this week.
