Ontario growers should scout for fall armyworm

Winter crops, forages and cover crops in Ontario are at risk of damage from fall armyworm, according to Tracey Baute, field crop entomologist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
There are no established thresholds for fall armyworm this late into the fall, especially for fall seeded crops. It is a matter to determining if and how much injury or stand loss is occurring that could impact the crop’s winter survival. |READ MORE
