Good weather boosts canola, barley and wheat

Oct. 4, 2011 -Statistics Canada has made it official: canola, barley and wheat yields are expected to increase, thanks in large part to continued warm weather for Western Canada. For Ontario, it's a different story as variable weather through the summer is expected to translate into lower yields for corn and soybeans, while Quebec growers are anticipating a record in soybean production.                READ MORE
