Cool temps in Manitoba threatens soybean crop
Aug. 25, 2014 - Recent cool temperatures in Manitoba is delaying soybean maturity, and the risk of frost could result in substantial yield loss in soybeans that are between R-5 (early seed) and R-6 (full seed). The latest growth stage for significant yield reduction to occur as a result of frost has been shown to be an average of R-6.6.
