Chinese government controls fertilizer exports
Nov. 18, 2011 -In the first of two reports on nutrients and possible impacts on markets, China has announced it will be implementing a new regulation in 2012 that will do more to control fertilizer exports, and as a result, also control its domestic market price. The focus of the regulation will be on smaller-volume fertilizers, such as ammonium sulfate and superphosphate, as well as existing tariffs on nitrogen and phosphate compounds. READ MORE
