Applications open for mental health training for Canadian farmers

The Do More Ag Foundation is officially opening applications for its fourth year of the Community Fund.

The Community Fund was created to provide agricultural communities across Canada with access to mental health education and literacy at no cost. It was created in partnership with Farm Credit Canada.

In addition to its “Talk Ask Listen” workshop across Canada, Do More Ag will also be offering workshops on subjects such as “mental health first aid” and suicide awareness. Online workshops will also be introduced this year.

Those who wish to apply can learn more and apply online beginning Nov. 3 and until Dec. 10.
