Sept. 23, 2014 - An upcoming summit in Alberta is aimed at addressing the agriculture labour issue on a number of levels — from attracting and retaining labour, to a panel on skill and career development in agriculture.
There will be presentations on global trends and labour needs in Canadian agriculture; an update on the Labour Task Force report; a session on recruitment strategies and challenges; as well as panel discussions on the Temporary Foreign Workers Program, and skill and career development.
The summit takes place October 30 in Red Deer at the Black Knight Inn.
