… you are finishing your final year of university and nearly every other conversation you have inevitably turns to the very scary topic of life after school. Stress levels are high with the looming threat of final exams, and now you have the added task of finding a job.

In my case, all the stress was worth it and once I finally landed that perfect job there was a definite sense of relief, excitement and a little trepidation.

I’m Claire Cowan, the proud new associate editor for Top Crop Manager. I am very excited to be joining such a prestigious publication and to be given the opportunity to work with a great team.

Although I may be fresh out of school and still a little green, I’m eager to learn and am willing to work hard to uphold the high standards to which Top Crop Manager is accustomed.

Those high standards are the cause of the aforementioned trepidation. I am very aware that I have a lot to live up to, in terms of the quality of writing and information that Top Crop Manager provides.

But I am always up for a challenge and I am always open to learning more. This is a thrilling time and I am happy to have the opportunity to embark on this new journey with the readers and contributors of Top Crop Manager.
