Weather hampers harvest in Manitoba
Aug. 31, 2015 - A strong weather system passed through several areas of the central region of Manitoba the morning of August 28. Heavy rains and small to large-sized hail resulted in varying amounts of crop damage.
Elsewhere, sporadic rainfall and high humidity levels slowed harvest progress and haying operations across the province. The recent weather is also resulting in quality loss in some crop types.
