Young farmer video contest winners announced

Dec. 30, 2013 - Farm Management Canada has chosen the winners of Y We Farm, its young farmer video competition.

The winners are New Brunswick Young Farmers Forum (representative still to be chosen), Heather Little from Ontario and Geoffrey Fot from Saskatchewan. All three winners will be attending the FarmTech conference in Edmonton, Jan. 27-30, 2014.

The competition required young Canadian farmers (aged 18-40 actively involved on a farm) to produce a video, one minute or less, based on the theme: What does your generation bring to the farm table?
