Wild Rose Agricultural Producers AGM Jan 15-16

Jan. 11, 2013, Sherwood Park, AB - Agricultural producers and farm leaders representing commodity groups and the agri-food industry will be meeting next week in Banff, Alberta, where delegates will convene at the Wild Rose Agricultural Producers (WRAP) Annual General Meeting. This year's theme is "Sharing the Vision in Agriculture".

Among the speakers at this year's event will be a keynote address by Wendy Holm, award-winning resource economist, agrologist, author and journalist; and Ron Bonnett, President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, who will bring a national and international perspective to the discussions.

The event begins with a welcome reception on Monday, Jan. 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Banff Park Lodge. The AGM commences on Jan. 15 at 8:15 a.m.
