US Grains Council identifies China and India as growth markets
Nov. 4, 2011 -In its weekly report, the US Grains Council is targeting China and India as first and second in recent trade news. The council is joining the chorus of ag interests that look at China as a growth market for exports of US corn, while the International Monetary Fund has pegged India's growth in 2011/2012 at just under eight percent, in spite of world economic pressures, making India another "open market."
