US farmers and Brazilian soy growth
Sept. 6, 2011 -US and Canadian farmers who are concerned that Brazilian growers may increase their soybean acreage can rest a little easier. The currency discrepency between Brazil's real and the US dollar, Brazil's shaky infrastructure and the increasing investment in corn, cotton and other crops, means Brazilian growers -and its soybean industry -face too many short term challenges to expand their soybean acreage.
