Updated OMAFRA weed control guide now available

The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) has released their Guide to Weed Control, Field Crops 2020-21. This year, OMAFRA has published two weed guides: one for field crops (Publication 75A) and one for horticultural crops (Publication 75B).
The guide provides the most up-to-date information on available weed management products that are federally registered with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) and classified by the Ontario Ministry of of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, which is responsible for regulating pesticide sale, use, transportation, storage and disposal in Ontario.
Information on management strategies for common problem weeds, application technology and crop-specific herbicide treatment rates can also be found in the guide.
