TPP is good for Saskatchewan, says Ritz

Jul. 19, 2012 - Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz said that if Canada's application to the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) is successful, the agriculture industry will significantly benefit.

According to an article in the Regina Leader-Post, Ritz commented on the ongoing negotiations after his keynote speecg to the Pacific Northwest Economic Region's annual summit in Saskatoon.

“At the end of the day trade is good for Canada, it’s good for agriculture and it’s good for Saskatchewan,” he said.
