Seeding advances rapidly in Sask.

May 12, 2016 - Seeding progress in Saskatchewan continues to rapidly advance thanks to warm and dry weather. As of May 9, producers in the province have 35 per cent of the crop in the ground. The five-year (2011-2015) seeding average for this time of year is 10 per cent, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture's weekly Crop Report.
