Rainfall eases moisture stress in Saskatchewan

July 16, 2015 - Rainfall over the July 11-12 weekend helped alleviate moisture stress issues in some areas of Saskatchewan. However, more rain will be needed to help crops fill, according to the province's crop report.

Some areas received only small amounts of rainfall while others reported several inches. Topsoil moisture conditions have slightly improved in much of the province.
