Rain slows Manitoba harvest
Oct. 1, 2013 - In Manitoba, harvest progress once again slowed over the past week due to rainfall, according to the most recent Manitoba Crop Report.
As at September 30, spring cereals and canola harvests are the most advanced, with producers making progress on soybeans, edible beans, potatoes, flax, corn silage and greenfeed. Sunflower and grain corn harvest has yet to start.
