Protesters march against plans for quarry
A group of protesters spent the Easter weekend marching in protest of plans to develop a quarry in the Shelbourne, Ontario region. The proposed plan for the quarry would threaten the Ontario potato industry, despite assurances by the owner of the project that once quarried, the site would be "returned to an arable state."
