Precision cropping workshop to be held in Jerseyville

July 23, 2013, Jerseyville, Ont. – The Innovative Farmers Association of Ontario will present a Precision Cropping Workshop on Aug. 13 in Jerseyville, Ont.
The workshop will be held at Miller Farms, 3029 Jerseyville Rd. W., Jerseyville. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and sessions will run from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Topics include:
- Top 10 precision farming mistakes – and how to correct them
- Centralized, continuous data transfer – the future of data, machine and labour management?
- Infrared sensors, row clutches, auto-steer and precision practices that pay
- Using elevation data you already have for drainage and water management
