Pesticide drift may be considered tresspassing
Aug. 2, 2011 -It may be a US court ruling, but a recent case in Minnesota is attracting attention. It has taken more than 12 years, but an appelate court has ruled against a farmer who consistently sprayed his crops without considering the impact of spray drift on his neighbour's organic crops. The ruling now stands that spray drift, in this case, is tresspassing, setting a new and potentially costly precedent. READ MORE
