Ontario researchers crack spider mite DNA

Nov. 25, 2011 -A research team at the University of Western Ontario in London, has charted the genetic code of the spider mite, a pest that can attack more than 150 crops and plants, and is said to be responsible for as much as $1.0 billion in damage each year.
