OMAFRA’s 2020 forage season summary now available

Field Crop News, run by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) field crop team, has released its 2020 forage season summary. This includes a recap of 2019 conditions leading into the 2020 season, and crop reports for hay, pastures and annual forages.

The 2020 season has been the highest payout year yet for Agricorp’s Forage Rainfall Plan, with $6.6 million under the insufficient rainfall option and $1.4 million under the excess rainfall option. |READ MORE
