OMAFRA reports on pests in Ontario

Aug. 7, 2012 - The Ontario Ministery of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) has released their latest Crop-Pest Ontario newsletter.

The newsletter includes a number of articles written by OMAFRA researchers and specialists, with a focus on useful information for farmers. This issue of the newsletter features research on the the summer surge of Lepidoptera, the large presence of diseases affecting soybeans, how the drought will alter spider mite populations and more.
