OMAFRA releases data-based resources for Ontario farmers

March 23, 2020  By Top Crop Manager

As part of their March 2020 Agriculture Business Update, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) has released a variety of resources for financial and crop production planning. Several of these resources include multiple years (in some cases, decades) of statistical data and estimates, so outlying years – like 2019 – can be examined in a broader context.

For general farm finance information and year-over-year statistics, including field crops: www.omafra.gov.on.ca/english/stats/finance/index.html

For field crop-specific production estimates and commodity prices: www.omafra.gov.on.ca/english/stats/crops/index.html
