OMAFRA: Managing phosphorus to keep it on-farm

How you manage phosphorus can change quite a bit depending on where you farm, according to the latest crop report from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ (OMAFRA’s) Field Crop News team. For those who farm near any of the Great Lakes, especially Erie and Ontario, phosphorus runoff and its contribution to algal blooms are major concerns and limit the amount of phosphorus that can be safely applied.
