Nominations open for Farm Management Canada board of directors

Farm Management Canada (FMC) has officially opened nomination for its board of directors. It is currently looking to fill three positions. Elected board members will serve a three-year term and can serve a maximum of three consecutive three-year terms. Members in good standing are invited to stand for election to the board.
Nominations will close at 5 p.m. ET on Friday. The elections open June 3, and online voting closes June 24. The results will be announced at FMC’s virtual AGM on July 12.
- Farmer;
- Member at large;
- Association/organization;
- Academic institution; or
- Corporate
One position must be filled by a member from the association/organization, academic institution or corporate categories.
The board is seeking nominees who have demonstrated experience in business development and growth, not-for-profit growth and development or government relations. However, nominees are welcome from those with individual skills outside those areas.
