Updated wireworm factsheet now available
The two most widespread wireworm species of economic concern in the Canadian Prairie provinces are the prairie grain wireworm Selatosomus aeripennis destructor, and Hypnoidus bicolor. Another species that can sometimes occur in crops in the Canadian Prairie provinces is Aeolus mellillus.
