DuPont Pioneer donates to CASA

DuPont Pioneer has donated $5,000 to the FarmSafe Foundation, the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) charitable wing, as part of the Community Investment Corporate Giving Grant program.

The grant will specifically be used to design and build a grain safety display for youth. The display is part of a larger Grain Safety Program under development that will bring more grain safety education and training to rural communities.

"Moving grain poses a significant safety risk on farms and can entrap a person in less than 25 seconds," says Marcel Hacault, CASA's Executive Director. Hacault says the donation will be used to make a resource available to educate youth on the dangers posed by moving grain.
