Natural pest control under review

A research scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in P.E.I is investigating natural ways to deal with pests that damage cabbage, canola and potatoes.

In canola, the effect of pollen beetles are being studied. Pollen beetles are currently found in Quebec and P.E.I but climate models are showing that these pests are going to be moving into western Canada, where canola is a major crop.
