MPSG On-Farm Network trial results now available
By Top Crop Manager
Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers (MPSG) has released research reports for the 2021 growing season of their On-Farm Network trials. The On-Farm Network, developed in 2014, is a network of on-farm research related to pulse and soybean crops that is fully funded and directed by MPSG. All research in this network is based on three important principles: participatory, precise and proactive.
The network allows growers to test agronomic factors for their specific farm conditions with the support of Megan Bourns, MPSG On-Farm Network agronomist, and learn from research conducted by others in the province and in similar geographic areas.
In addition to the written reports, MPSG has also created a video series presenting the results of the trials. The video series was also available for last year’s season to make up for the lack of in-person meetings to discuss results due to COVID. This year’s video series can be accessed here or through the MPSG website.
