Species at Risk Farm Incentive Program

The claim deadline for the Species at Risk Farm Incentive Program (SARFIP) has been extended to February 15, 2015. Projects that were completed after April 1, 2014 and select spring 2015 projects are eligible for cost-share. 

  • Protect soil from wind erosion by planting windbreaks and shelterbelts
  • Establish rotational grazing systems with temporary fences
  • Create buffer strips for stream bank stabilization

Up to 80 per cent cost-share is available to support stewardship activities on farms across the province. A SARFIP application package is attached, complete with all required forms. If you have any additional questions please contact Brad Carberry at 226-979-2465.
