Manitoba strengthening food processing sector and direct-farm sales

May 14, 2014 - The Manitoba government is establishing a new group to work with small-scale food processors, direct-farm marketers, farmers and others to support getting more local food to market while also putting the highest priority on food safety, Agriculture, Food and Rural Development Minister Ron Kostyshyn announced.
