Looking for new ways to combat wireworm

Nov. 25, 2011 - Researchers on Prince Edward Island and in Alberta are studying the effects of rotation crops on wireworm, which is becoming a larger threat to potato growers, with the pending expiration of Thimet in Canada.  In 2009, wireworm caused $3.0 million worth of damage to potato farmers on the Island.     READ MORE
