Gowan Canada's Edge herbicide has been granted a minor use label extension for industrial hemp.

The hemp registration covers both eastern and western Canadian growing regions. With a Group 3 mode of action, Edge will give growers an option for broad-spectrum grassy and broadleaf weed control, according to a press release from the company. Edge now has 15 crops on its label, including canola, caraway, chickpeas, dry beans, soybeans and sunflowers.
